Uploading content to Cathopic is straightforward. Follow these steps to upload your photos, videos, or graphics.
Step-by-step upload process
1. Log into your account:
Go to cathopic.com and log in
2. Navigate to upload page:
Click on Creator → Upload in the menu
Or go directly to cathopic.com/creator/upload
3. Upload your files:
Drag and drop files onto the upload area
Or click to browse and select files
Upload multiple files at once
Files will begin uploading immediately
The uploader automatically detects the file type (photo, video, or graphic)
4. Add metadata while uploading:
Title: Descriptive name for the content
Description: Context and potential uses
Tags: Add at least 7 relevant keywords
Categories: Select appropriate categories
Location: Add where the content was created (optional but recommended)
5. Set content type (photos only):
Choose Free or Premium
Videos and graphics are always premium
6. Review and submit:
Check all information is complete and accurate
Verify copyright ownership
Click submit for moderation review

If files have IPTC metadata, fields may pre-fill automatically
Complete all metadata before submitting
Use Trends for keyword ideas
You can upload while previous batches are in review
After upload
Content enters moderation queue
You will receive notification when reviewed
Approved content goes live immediately
Rejected content can be improved and resubmitted
