Can I reactivate a canceled subscription?

How do I remove someone from my subscription team?

The subscription owner can remove active members or cancel pending invitations from the team section. Remove a member or pending invitation Log in with the account that owns the subscription. Go to Settings → Subscription. Find the Team section. In the members list, click the remove icon next to the person or pending invitation. Confirm the removal. What happens to an active member They immediately stop using the shared team subscription. Their future downloads no longer use the team download balance. Their Cathopic account is not deleted. The removed member seat becomes available again. What happens to a pending invitation The invitation is revoked and can no longer be accepted. Because pending invitations count toward the seat limit, revoking one frees that seat. If the removed member had their own subscription If Cathopic paused the member own subscription when they joined the team, it is resumed when they are removed. Cathopic preserves the paid time by shifting the relevant renewal and payment dates by the time the subscription was paused.

What happens if I leave a team subscription?

If you are a team member, you can leave the shared subscription from your subscription settings. The leave option is shown to members, not to the subscription owner. Leave a team Go to Settings → Subscription. Find the Team section. Click the leave button shown next to your member row. Confirm that you want to leave the team. After you leave Your future downloads no longer use the shared team subscription. You no longer count against the team seat limit. The subscription owner still controls the team subscription and billing. Your Cathopic account remains active. If your own subscription was paused When you joined the team, Cathopic may have paused your own active subscription so the shared team subscription would be used instead. When you leave, that paused subscription is resumed and the paid time is preserved by extending the relevant renewal and payment dates by the pause duration. Joining another team If you accept an invitation from another team while you already belong to one, Cathopic shows a switch confirmation. Confirming the switch removes you from the current team and joins you to the new one.

How do I invite team members to share my subscription?

If your plan includes more than one seat, the subscription owner can invite people from the subscription settings page. Invite a member Log in with the account that owns the subscription. Go to Settings → Subscription. Find the Team section. Enter the member email address. Click Invite member. Cathopic sends an invitation email with an Accept invitation link. If the invited person already has a Cathopic account, they are sent to sign in. If they do not have an account yet, they are sent to registration with the invited email. How seats are counted The subscription owner uses one seat. Active members and pending invitations also count toward the plan seat limit. A pending invitation frees its seat only when it is revoked or expires. What members share Each member signs in with their own Cathopic account. Their downloads use the shared team subscription and are deducted from the same team download balance. The owner keeps control of the subscription and billing. If you do not see the invite field If your current plan only includes your own seat, the team section shows an option to view plans instead of the invitation field. If Cathopic cannot verify a custom organization domain for your account, invitations stay disabled until the owner updates the profile email to a corporate email with a custom domain.

Who can join a team subscription?

Team subscriptions are intended for people who belong to the same organization. Cathopic verifies this through the email domain used for the invitation. Requirements The plan must include team seats. A plan with one seat cannot invite additional members. The team subscription must be active and available. Invitations cannot be accepted if the shared subscription no longer provides download access. The invited email must match the team domain. Cathopic uses the owner business email when available, otherwise the owner account email. The domain must be a custom organization domain, not a common personal email provider. The invited person must accept with the same email address. If the invitation was sent to name@organization.com, the member must sign in or register with that email. A seat must be available. The owner, active members, and pending invitations all count toward the limit. If the invited person already has a subscription They can still join if the invitation is valid and seats are available. When they accept, Cathopic pauses their own active subscription with a team-paused status so their downloads use the shared team subscription instead. If the invited person already belongs to another team Cathopic asks them to confirm the switch before changing teams. Confirming ends their current team membership and moves them to the new team. If their own subscription was paused, its paid time remains protected. If the invited person manages another team An account that already manages another active team cannot join a different team until those members are removed from the subscription it manages.

How do I delete my account?

This will deactivate your account immediately, but you will have 30 days to change your mind and reactivate it before your data is permanently deleted.
